- Working pressure regulation: membrane pressure regulator with pressure gauge downstream from filtering elements.
Remote control (optional)
The Walcom® TD3PRO -TD1PRO may be remotely controlled thanks to an optional remote control kit (photo 8). Thanks to these 3-button remote controls, 3 different temperature settings can be used by simply pressing the relevant buttons.
We suggest you always use three different temperature during the complete paint cycle to optimise the results that can be achieved during the base application phase, the subsequent drying phase and ending with the last transparent application phase.
For example, we suggest the base is applied at 42°C/109°F, then raised to 70°C/158°F to dry the base and, lastly, lowered to 50°C/122°F for the last transparent application phase.
The remote control is thus set to work at these recommended temperatures:
- key 1 = 42°/109°F for the base
- key 2 = 50°/122°F for the transparent
- key 3 = 70°/158°F for drying
These temperatures can be changed and reset according to need in the SETPOINT menu (see paragraph “preliminary settings”)
NB:
- The TD3PRO -TD1PRO red indicator light will blink to confirm reception whenever a button is pressed on the remote control
- Remote control button 1 is associated with Setpoint 1, button 2 with Setpoint 2 and button 3 with Setpoint 3
- For further information, see the remote control kit manual.
T1 - T2 - T3 SETTINGS
- Press MENU
- Select “Setpoint” using button “OK”
- Press button THT 1 and button THT 1+2 untill required temperature has been reachead
- Select the arrows to the Setpoint
- Press MENU for coming back to the previus MENU
- Use the remote control to check whether the achieved result is the one desired.

Proper use
Walcom® TD3PRO -TD1PRO is a professional system complete with air treatment for painting.
It is made up of:
- a 25 micron filtering element with condensation centrifuge separator and automatic condensation drain (only TD3PRO)
- coalescent de-greaser filter with 0.01 micron mesh and manual oil drain (only TD3PRO)
- silica gel drying element (only TD3PRO)- active carbon filtering element (only TD3PRO)
- heating element (TD3PRO -TD1PRO)
This system is designed to:
- treat normal mains compressed air to obtain the most suitable characteristics for painting
- be installed, except for input and output compressed air hoses, out of explosive environments which in this case include the spraybooths
- be installed according to the instructions contained in this manual.
Improper use
Equipment use other than that described in the previous paragraph may lead to serious health hazards. Specifically, the following may cause hazardous situations:
- the use of fluids other than normal compressed air
- installation in explosive environments
- installation according to criteria other than those indicated in this manual.
